Our Home

Willow Bank is a long established, family owned and managed home. It is registered for eighteen permanent service users and day care placements. It is situated in the rural surroundings of Hadfield village. We care for people over 65 and specialise in caring for people with Dementia.

Willow Bank is proud to offer a homely environment with good quality care and dedication to our service users. Willow Bank is rated Outstanding by the CQC.

The home is large enough to offer a good level of amenities but small enough to cater for the individual. All our service users enjoy a full and pleasant lifestyle, with care planned to meet their personal needs and wishes. Our long serving and dedicated staff of carers are encouraged not only to meet the day to day needs of our residents, but also to form relationships based on trust and understanding.

The Manager/Owner, Sarah White, has worked in Health and Social Care for 20 years. Sarah has a BA (Hons) in English and Sociology and has obtained her Leadership and Management Award as well as Levels 3-7 Diplomas.

Ann-Marie Coggin is our Deputy Manager and works alongside Sarah managing the home as well as caring for our Residents. Ann-Marie has been at Willow Bank for 9 years and has worked in care for 20 years, she has achieved her 3-5 level Diplomas.

We are committed to train all our staff to Diploma Level and beyond. We are passionate about education and ongoing learning and our staff do lots of training throughout the year to keep their skills and competency up to date. We have a loyal and conscientious team, most of whom have been with Willow Bank for many years. We pride ourselves in not relying on agency staff as we have a dedicated team of permanent, skilled carers. The provision of 24-hour staffing means that all our Residents benefit from the assistance, companionship and encouragement offered by friendly carers, whatever time of day or night.

We would recommend you join us for a trial visit, have a look around, cup of tea and meet the team who will warmly welcome you to our home. Most admissions are planned but we can take emergency admissions if needed. A thorough preadmission assessment will be done by a member of our management team.
